Cure Yeast Infection Naturally

What is yeast infection and how do you cure it naturally? According to Wikipedia:

Candidiasis or thrush is a fungal infection (mycosis) of any of the Candida species (all yeasts), of which Candida albicans is the most common. Also commonly referred to as a yeast infection, candidiasis is also technically known as candidosis, moniliasis, and oidiomycosis.

Candidiasis encompasses infections that range from superficial, such as oral thrush and vaginitis, to systemic and potentially life-threatening diseases. Candida infections of the latter category are also referred to as candidemia and are usually confined to severely immunocompromised persons, such as cancer, transplant, and AIDS patients as well as non-trauma emergency surgery patients

FYI, I am not a doctor. What you will find here are based on my researches. Please be advised to consult your doctors first before you attempt to self treat yourself. Although what you will find here are really natural ways to help you heal your yeast infection.

Anyway, how do you cure yeast infection naturally? These are only a few of the things you can do to help you cure yeast infection.

  1. Maintain proper hygiene.
  • Keep your body and your affected area clean all the time.
  • Use proper hygiene products or mild soap.
  • Keep your genital area dry as bacteria like living in wet and moist areas.
  • Wear cotton undergarments.
  • Change undergarments twice or thrice a day.
  • Change your clothes immediately after swimming or doing exercises.

    2. Eat Healthy.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables more.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Eat yogurt as it has good bacteria plus it detoxifies your system.

    3. Rub Tea Tree Oil on the affected area. Tea tree oil is a natural product. Apply it on your genital   area with a cotton swab. Let it sit for a few minutes then rinse off well with soap and water.

Drink Green Tea for Clearer More Beautiful Skin!

Green Tea is not a favorite drink of mine. I prefer coffee or chocolate drinks than tea- green, yellow, whatever! But then, I'm starting to love Green Tea now. The reason why I drink this beverage is because of the health benefits it gives and the wonders it does for our skin. If you don't believe me, "Google" is a friend. Try asking it about Green Tea Benefits and you'll see what am talking about. (But yes you don't have to do the searching, for I 've done it for you)

So what are the Benefits of Green Tea? I will enumerate a few.

1.  It contains Catechins, a powerful anti-oxidant that fights free radicals.
2. It contains a compound called theanine which stimulates alpha brain waves, relaxes the body, removes stress and promotes relaxed awareness.
3. It helps you lose weight.
4. It prevents certain diseases like cancer and heart disease.
5. It helps improve the condition of your heart. Green tea inhibits atherosclerosis which is the hardening and thickening of arteries. It also reduces high blood pressure.
6. It helps in the prevention and treatment of Diabetes. Green Tea has the compound EGCG and theaflavins which regulate blood sugar levels by
  • Increasing insulin activities
  • Promoting glucose metabolism
  • Blocking glucose absorption
 7. It treats inflammation, which is very useful for those who are suffering from acne and other skin condition.
8.  It boosts the immune system through the antigens it contains.
9. It helps prevent tooth decay and even bad breath.
10. It helps preserve bone density and reduces osteoporosis risk.

But wait, there's more. Many people use green tea to treat their skin problems like acne, blemishes, even dark spots. The anti-oxidants in green tea plus it's anti-inflammatory properties make it an ideal treatment for pimples. Green Tea also tones and moisturizes the skin. I bet you've heard about famous people using green tea on their skin, in addition to drinking green tea.

Green Tea really does wonder to your skin. I've been drinking Green Tea on a daily basis for over a month now. This is actually one of my secrets in combating pimples and other skin problems. I also apply it on my face. I'll share the step by step guide on how to make a Green Tea Toner, and facial mask soon.. Till next time..:)

Eat Healthy, Look Healthy!

If you want to look better on the outside in terms of your skin, your hair, your overall glow, you need to not only watch what you apply externally on your body but also watch what you eat.  What you take inside your body will show on the outside. Eat a healthy balanced diet and you will see your skin improve. As a matter of known fact, what  you take in is actually manifested through your skin, unless you are so blessed with good genes and good skin, the latter of which is an exception rather than the rule.

Eat Vegetables and Fruits
So start eating right especially if you have pimples, acne breakouts, uneven skin tone, dry skin, oily skin, sagging eyes, whiteheads, blackheads, and other skin problems. Skip sodas, liquor and other beverages that contain caffeine, too much sugar, etc. Also, refrain from eating sugary foods. Eat more vegetables and fruits which are rich in antioxidants.  Antioxidants keep the skin cells healthy by cleaning the body, removing waste products from cells, to give a clean, healthy glowing skin.

Drink Water
And yes of course, drink plenty of water each day. Water is the number beauty secret that is so obvious when it comes to the benefits it provides, but many tend to ignore it.

What water does to our body, aside from quenching our thirst?

  • Hydrates the body
  • Transpsort nutrients and oxygen into cells
  • Moisturizes the air in lungs
  • Helps with metabolism
  • Protect our vital organ
  • Helps our organs to absorb nutrients better
  • Regulates body temperature
  • Detoxifies
  • Protect and moisturizes our joints
  • Water helps to replenish skin tissues, moisturizes skin and increase skin elasticity.
  • Drinking water raises your metabolism because it helps in digestion. Fiber and water goes hand in hand so that you can have your daily bowel movement
  • Water dilutes the concentration of cancer-causing agents in the urine and shortens the time in which they are in contact with bladder lining.

This article is simply telling you to eat right. Eat what's good for your body and in due time you will see great improvement in your skin and hair. Foods such as vegetables and fruits are not expensive.   What is the price of these compared to an expensive cake and coffee in the restaurant?  It's all about choice! Spend right! Eat right! Look great!

P.S. I will be out of town for a few days. I might not be able to update that often. Please bear with me. :)

3 Simple Ways To Detox Your Body

Detoxification is very important for our body.  We need to remove the toxins and impurities in our system which affects our inner health and physical beauty. Detox is a basic must do for all women and men of all ages.  There are several ways to detox your system, and here are 3 simple ways to do it.

1. Drink plenty of water! Water cleanses our system like no other.  Impurities and toxins are released from our bodies in the form of urine and sweat. Water also keeps the skin hydrated aside from the other numerous health benefits of drinking water.

2.Digestive Cleansing. This involves fasting and/or just eating select foods. You don't have to necessarily fast especially if you are working. Just choose to eat natural, healthy foods and vegetables as well as fiber rich foods. Skip the processed foods and drinks. Skip soda, alcohol, processed juice, coffee, etc. Do this for at least 3 days to see results.

Expect some side effects if you opt to fast, like headaches, nausea, and irritability, etc.

3. Detox Bath.  Some people just turn on the shower, apply soap on their bodies, shampoos on their hairs, then rinse! For people on the go, this might be the case always or more often. Once in a while you need to do a detox bath, which involves spending more time in the shower to cleanse your body. You can use body scrubs or the regular sea salt mixed with some body oil and gently massage your body.  The scrubs will remove the excess skin and oil to help your skin breathe. You will feel thoroughly cleansed after this.

These are very easy steps on how to detoxify your body, but mind you, the effects are absolutely amazing!

Top 10 Things You Can Do to Reduce Global Warming

http://www.luciennedemauny.co.uk/images/house_number10_lge.jpg

Burning fossil fuels such as natural gas, coal, oil and gasoline raises the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and carbon dioxide is a major contributor to the greenhouse effect and global warming.

You can help to reduce the demand for fossil fuels, which in turn reduces global warming, by using energy more wisely. Here are 10 simple actions you can take to help reduce global warming.
1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Do your part to reduce waste by choosing reusable products instead of disposables. Buying products with minimal packaging (including the economy size when that makes sense for you) will help to reduce waste. And whenever you can, recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminum cans. If there isn't a recycling program at your workplace, school, or in your community, ask about starting one. By recycling half of your household waste, you can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.

2. Use Less Heat and Air Conditioning
Adding insulation to your walls and attic, and installing weather stripping or caulking around doors and windows can lower your heating costs more than 25 percent, by reducing the amount of energy you need to heat and cool your home.

Turn down the heat while you're sleeping at night or away during the day, and keep temperatures moderate at all times. Setting your thermostat just 2 degrees lower in winter and higher in summer could save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.

3. Change a Light Bulb
Wherever practical, replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Replacing just one 60-watt incandescent light bulb with a CFL will save you $30 over the life of the bulb. CFLs also last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs, use two-thirds less energy, and give off 70 percent less heat.

If every U.S. family replaced one regular light bulb with a CFL, it would eliminate 90 billion pounds of greenhouse gases, the same as taking 7.5 million cars off the road.

4. Drive Less and Drive Smart
Less driving means fewer emissions. Besides saving gasoline, walking and biking are great forms of exercise. Explore your community mass transit system, and check out options for carpooling to work or school.

When you do drive, make sure your car is running efficiently. For example, keeping your tires properly inflated can improve your gas mileage by more than 3 percent. Every gallon of gas you save not only helps your budget, it also keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

5. Buy Energy-Efficient Products
When it's time to buy a new car, choose one that offers good gas mileage. Home appliances now come in a range of energy-efficient models, and compact florescent bulbs are designed to provide more natural-looking light while using far less energy than standard light bulbs.

Avoid products that come with excess packaging, especially molded plastic and other packaging that can't be recycled. If you reduce your household garbage by 10 percent, you can save 1,200 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.

6. Use Less Hot Water
Set your water heater at 120 degrees to save energy, and wrap it in an insulating blanket if it is more than 5 years old. Buy low-flow showerheads to save hot water and about 350 pounds of carbon dioxide yearly. Wash your clothes in warm or cold water to reduce your use of hot water and the energy required to produce it. That change alone can save at least 500 pounds of carbon dioxide annually in most households. Use the energy-saving settings on your dishwasher and let the dishes air-dry.

7. Use the "Off" Switch
Save electricity and reduce global warming by turning off lights when you leave a room, and using only as much light as you need. And remember to turn off your television, video player, stereo and computer when you're not using them.

It's also a good idea to turn off the water when you're not using it. While brushing your teeth, shampooing the dog or washing your car, turn off the water until you actually need it for rinsing. You'll reduce your water bill and help to conserve a vital resource.

8. Plant a Tree
If you have the means to plant a tree, start digging. During photosynthesis, trees and other plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. They are an integral part of the natural atmospheric exchange cycle here on Earth, but there are too few of them to fully counter the increases in carbon dioxide caused by automobile traffic, manufacturing and other human activities. A single tree will absorb approximately one ton of carbon dioxide during its lifetime.

9. Get a Report Card from Your Utility Company
Many utility companies provide free home energy audits to help consumers identify areas in their homes that may not be energy efficient. In addition, many utility companies offer rebate programs to help pay for the cost of energy-efficient upgrades.

10. Encourage Others to Conserve
Share information about recycling and energy conservation with your friends, neighbors and co-workers, and take opportunities to encourage public officials to establish programs and policies that are good for the environment.

These 10 steps will take you a long way toward reducing your energy use and your monthly budget. And less energy use means less dependence on the fossil fuels that create greenhouse gases and contribute to global warming.

Weight loss made simple and rapid. You will lose excess pounds and become slimmer that you can see and feel in just 7 days. It is tasty and refreshing, good for fatty people, night worker and those who wish to keep fit.

How Effective and what are the side effects:
So far, all testimonies from users that I've read online are positive. Many of them lost 5 lbs in 7 days.  There are also no reported major bad side effects, except for excessive thirst for some and lessened appetite (the latter is not really bad for weight loss purposes) .

For review sake, I am working on buying authentic, genuine, original 7 Days Brazilian Slimming Coffee. I already texted a reputable seller and am waiting for her response.  I will try this weight loss coffee for 7 days and I will give you my honest review.

How to know if 7 Days Brazilian Slimming Coffee is authentic? Here are some guidelines I searched online:

  • - Silver writing is super embossed
  • - with dark brown logo

Take note, online sources say that there are authentic and class a versions of this coffee. I will shed more light into this after I get my coffee. So please bookmark my blog for future updates.

UPDATES:

Okay i've had a few sips of this BRAZILIAN SLIMMING COFFEE. My verdict is NOPE it does not make you lose weight fast or miraculously! BUT IT CAN HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT!

My views may run contrary to many testimonies you find online but this is how I experienced the slimming coffee.

Let me go into details:

TASTE:
Very tolerable. It is almost tasteless actually.COOL because you don't t experience that medicine like taste in your mouth. The smell doesn't cling to your mouth so that's nice. But as a coffee lover, I am not a fan of it's taste.

AFTER EFFECTS of drinking:
Nothing weird, or bizarre. No headaches, no dizziness... no diarrhea...nothing... After drinking it, I just went doing the usual things I do. BUT, it did suppress my appetite. I wasn't thinking of grabbing some snacks every now and then. I think the coffee's amazing effect in suppressing your appetite is what makes you lose weight in the long run.

In my case, as long as I have not nibbled any food, am safe, because the moment I have started eating, I'm just back to my old self again- i mean the appetite is there. So I EAT EAT EAT!

I did not lose a kilo or 5 kilos as others would claim in a week's time. So I guess the effects differ from person to person.

Bear in mind, I am only 47 1/2 kilos so I really don't need this slimming coffee at all.

well if you wan't to lose weight, the coffee will only suppress your appetite. Still a good thing. BUT the coffee is not  your wonder slimming coffee..

UPDATES as of February 2011:

Check out some of the negative comments about this product from various users:

hi . I am 17 y.o and i am drinking brazilian coffee every morning. I make it as my habit and a routine. But I stopped drinking after 3 weeks because of certain effects. First, I began crash dieting. Drinking this coffee suppress my appetite and eats only crackers for lunch, milk and banana for brkfast. If I forcely intake food, I usually puke them out. My sleeping pattern was only 2 hours. My friend's dad was a media in a certain company, he gone to BFAD ( bureau of food and drugs) and asked about the Brazilian Coffee.
This is the BFAD's STATEMENT :

Brazilian Coffee was banned in Brazil for its bad effects like having kidney defects and distributed their stocks to the other countries particularly in the Philippines.
It is a wide spread and it is commonly being brought at the chinese drugstores. Brazilian coffee is not BFAD approved.

-- hearing upon statement, I began worrying about my health and how would I get back to my usual lifestyle. Even though I stopped drinking this coffee, still I can experience, shortness of breath, Shaking, coffee addiction, headache, muscle pain, suppression of appetite, insomnia and the like.

20 Simple Ways to Get Happy

    State of Mind

Happiness is ephemeral, subject to the vagaries of everything from the weather to the size of your bank account.

We're not suggesting that you can reach a permanent state called "happiness" and remain there. But there are many ways to swerve off the path of anxiety, anger, frustration, and sadness into a state of happiness once or even several times throughout the day. Here are 20 ideas to get you started. Choose the ones that work for you. If tuning out the news or making lists will serve only to stress you further, try another approach.

    How to Be Happier
    ComstockComplete
Although relationships are one of the best antidotes to stress, sometimes you need time alone to recharge and reflect.
    1. Practice mindfulness. Be in the moment. Instead of worrying about your checkup tomorrow while you have dinner with your family, focus on the here and now -- the food, the company, the conversation.

    2. Laugh out loud. Just anticipating a happy, funny event can raise levels of endorphins and other pleasure-inducing hormones and lower production of stress hormones. Researchers at the University of California, Irvine, tested 16 men who all agreed they thought a certain videotape was funny. Half were told three days in advance they would watch it. They started experiencing biological changes right away. When they actually watched the video, their levels of stress hormones dropped significantly, while their endorphin levels rose 27 percent and their growth hormone levels (indicating benefit to the immune system)

    3. Go to sleep. We have become a nation of sleep-deprived citizens. Taking a daily nap or getting into bed at 8 p.m. one night with a good book -- and turning the light out an hour later -- can do more for your mood and outlook on life than any number of bubble baths or massages.

    4. Hum along. Music soothes more than the savage beast. Studies find music activates parts of the brain that produce happiness -- the same parts activated by food or sex. It's also relaxing. In one study older adults who listened to their choice of music during outpatient eye surgery had significantly lower heart rates, blood pressure, and cardiac workload (that is, their heart didn't have to work as hard) as those who had silent surgery.

    5. Declutter. It's nearly impossible to meditate, breathe deeply, or simply relax when every surface is covered with papers and bills and magazines, your cabinets bulge, and you haven't balanced your checkbook in six months. Plus, the repetitive nature of certain cleaning tasks -- such as sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing -- can be meditative in and of itself if you focus on what you're doing.

    6. Just say no. Eliminate activities that aren't necessary and that you don't enjoy. If there are enough people already to handle the church bazaar and you're feeling stressed by the thought of running the committee for yet another year, step down and let someone else handle things.

    7. Make a list. There's nothing like writing down your tasks to help you organize your thoughts and calm your anxiety. Checking off each item provides a great sense of fulfillment.

    8. Do one thing at a time. Edward Suarez, Ph.D., associate professor of medical psychology at Duke, found that people who multitask are more likely to have high blood pressure. Take that finding to heart. Instead of talking on the phone while you fold laundry or clean the kitchen, sit down in a comfortable chair and turn your entire attention over to the conversation. Instead of checking e-mail as you work on other projects, turn off your e-mail function until you finish the report you're writing. This is similar to the concept of mindfulness.

    9. Garden. Not only will the fresh air and exercise provide their own stress reduction and feeling of well-being, but the sense of accomplishment that comes from clearing a weedy patch, watching seeds turn into flowers, or pruning out dead wood will last for hours, if not days.

    10. Tune out the news. For one week go without reading the newspaper, watching the news, or scanning the headlines online. Instead, take a vacation from the misery we're exposed to every day via the media and use that time for a walk, a meditation session, or to write in your journal.

    Block and Focus

    11. Take a dog for a walk. There are numerous studies that attest to the stress-relieving benefits of pets. In one analysis researchers evaluated the heart health of 240 couples, half of whom owned a pet. Those couples with pets had significantly lower heart rates and blood pressure levels when exposed to stressors than the couples who did not have pets. In fact, the pets worked even better at buffering stress than the spouses did.

    12. Scent the air. Research finds that the benefits of aromatherapy in relieving stress are real. In one study people exposed to rosemary had lower anxiety levels, increased alertness, and performed math computations faster. Adults exposed to lavender showed an increase in the type of brain waves that suggest increased relaxation. Today you have a variety of room-scenting methods, from plug-in air fresheners to essential oil diffusers, potpourri, and scented candles.

    13. Ignore the stock market. Simply getting your quarterly 401(k) statement can be enough to send your blood pressure skyrocketing. In fact, Chinese researchers found a direct link between the daily performance of the stock market and the mental health of those who closely followed it. Astute investors know that time heals most financial wounds, so give your investments time -- and give yourself a break.

    14. Visit a quiet place. Libraries, museums, gardens, and places of worship provide islands of peace and calm in today's frantic world. Find a quiet place near your house and make it your secret getaway.

    15. Volunteer. Helping others enables you to put your own problems into perspective and also provides social interaction. While happy people are more likely to help others, helping others increases your happiness. One study found that volunteer work enhanced all six aspects of well-being: happiness, life satisfaction, self-esteem, sense of control over life, physical health, and depression.

    16. Spend time alone. Although relationships are one of the best antidotes to stress, sometimes you need time alone to recharge and reflect. Take yourself out to lunch or to a movie, or simply spend an afternoon reading, browsing in a bookstore, or antiquing.

    17. Walk mindfully. You probably already know that exercise is better than tranquilizers for relieving anxiety and stress. But what you do with your mind while you're walking can make your walk even more beneficial. In a study called the Ruth Stricker Mind/Body Study, researchers divided 135 people into five groups of walkers for 16 weeks. Group one walked briskly, group two at a slow pace, and group three at a slow pace while practicing "mindfulness," a mental technique to bring about the relaxation response, a physiological response in which the heart rate slows and blood pressure drops. This group was asked to pay attention to their footsteps, counting one, two, one, two, and to visualize the numbers in their mind. Group four practiced a form of tai chi, and group five served as the control, changing nothing about their lives. The group practicing mindfulness showed significant declines in anxiety and had fewer negative and more positive feelings about themselves. Overall they experienced the same stress-reducing effects of the brisk walkers. Better yet, the effects were evident immediately.

    18. Give priority to close relationships. One study of more than 1,300 men and women of various ages found that those who had a lot of supportive friends were much more likely to have healthier blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar metabolism, and stress hormone levels than those with two or fewer close friends. Women, and to a lesser extent men, also seemed to benefit from good relationships with their parents and spouses. Studies also find that people who feel lonely, depressed, and isolated are three to five times more likely to get sick and die prematurely than those who have feelings of love, connection, and community.

    19. Take care of the soul. In study after study, actively religious people are happier and cope better with crises, according to David Myers, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. For many people faith provides a support community, a sense of life's meaning, feelings of ultimate acceptance, a reason to focus beyond yourself, and a timeless perspective on life's woes. Even if you're not religious, a strong spirituality may offer similar benefits.

    20. Count your blessings. People who pause each day to reflect on some positive aspect of their lives (their health, friends, family, freedom, education, etc.) experience a heightened sense of well-being.

Huge ice island breaks from Greenland glacier

An ice island four times the size of Manhattan has broken off from one of Greenland's two main glaciers in the biggest such event in the Arctic in nearly 50 years.

The new ice island, which broke off on Thursday, will enter a remote place called the Nares Strait, about 620 miles south of the North Pole between Greenland and Canada.

The ice island has an area of 100 square miles and a thickness of up to half the height of the Empire State Building, said Andreas Muenchow, professor of ocean science and engineering at the University of Delaware.

Mr Muenchow said he had expected an ice chunk to break off from the Petermann Glacier, one of the two largest remaining ones in Greenland, because it had been growing in size for seven or eight years. But he did not expect it to be so large.

"The freshwater stored in this ice island could keep the Delaware or Hudson Rivers flowing for more than two years," said Mr Muenchow

"It could also keep all US public tap water flowing for 120 days."

He said it was hard to judge whether the event occurred due to global warming because records on the seawater around the glacier have only been kept since 2003.

The flow of seawater below the glaciers is one of the main causes of ice calvings off Greenland.

"Nobody can claim this was caused by global warming. On the other hand nobody can claim that it wasn't," Mr Muenchow said.

Scientists have said the first six months of 2010 have been the hottest globally on record. The El Nino weather pattern has contributed to higher temperatures, but many scientists say elevated levels of man-made greenhouse gases are pushing temperatures higher.

The ice island could fuse to land, break up into smaller pieces, or slowly move south where it could block shipping.

The last time such a large ice island formed in Greenland was in 1962 when the Ward Hunt Ice Shelf calved an island.

Smaller pieces of that chunk became lodged between real islands inside Nares Strait.

Food The Ultimate Secret Exposed (Video)

Food the Ultimate Secret Exposed! This is the new video of Alex Jones and it is drawing peoples' attention. Alex Jones is a libertarian radio show host.

So what is this video food the ultimate secret exposed all about? This is the description found online:
Alex Jones addresses one of the darkest modes of power the globalists have used to control the population– food. The adulteration of the planet’s staple crops, genetically-altered species and intentionally-altered water, food and air all amount to a Eugenics operation to weaken the masses and achieve full spectrum domination.

How to Drink More Water Every Day

    http://pad1.whstatic.com/images/thumb/d/db/Glasswater.jpg/200px-Glasswater.jpg
There are a variety of reasons to drink plenty of water each day. Adequate water intake prevents dehydration, cleans out the body, and promotes healing processes. Substituting water for beverages high in calories can also help control weight. Follow the steps below to make sure you're getting enough of this most basic necessity.

Drink water before, with and after every meal; it will help you to prevent overeating and obesity. Eat slowly, drink water and you will get satisfied with less food.

    Steps

    1. Determine how much water you need. You've probably heard the "8 by 8" rule - drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day (2 quarts, 1.8 liters) - but the amount of water a person needs varies depending on his or her weight, activity level and climate. Another way to determine your specific recommended water intake is to divide your weight (in pounds) by two. The resulting number is the number of ounces of water you need each day. For example, if you weigh 150 lbs., strive to drink 75 ounces of water daily. For those who use the Metric system, divide your weight (in kilograms) by 30 (ex. somebody weighing 70 kg is going to need 2.3 liters per day). Keep in mind that these recommended intake numbers are controversial and some experts believe they are a gross exaggeration. See "warnings" below for more information.
    2. Measure your daily intake of water. Do this for a few days. If you find that you're drinking less than the recommended quantity, try some of the following tips:
    3. Learn to acquire a taste for water.
    4. Carry water with you everywhere put it in a bottle or other container.
    5. Keep a glass or cup of water next to you whenever you'll be sitting down for a long time, such as when you're at your desk at work. Drink from it regularly as you're working.
    6. Try wearing a digital watch that beeps at the beginning of each hour. Use that as a reminder to pour yourself a glass of water. Vow to drink that water before the next beep. If you drink only one small (6 ounce or 180 ml) cup per hour, you'll have consumed 48 ounces (1.4 liters) by the end of an 8-hour workday.
    7. Get a water purification system. Purified water tastes very good and may help make drinking water more appealing to you. Be aware, though, that as you grow accustomed to purified water, you may find that tap water leaves a bad taste in your mouth, even though it may be better for your teeth.[Keep in mind that fluoride, found in small quantities in tap water, is necessary for strong, healthy teeth.  Fortunately, no water filter removes the fluoride. You'd have to use reverse osmosis, distillation, or an expensive filter specific to removing fluoride. But don't do any of that. Fluoride in the saliva bathes the teeth and prevents dental decay!
    8. Add lemons or limes to your water. This makes it taste better and makes you want to drink more of it. Be careful not to make it too sour; just a splash of sourness should do the trick. Cucumber slices can also be added to a glass of water. Some mint leaves can be added to a pitcher of water which should be allowed to sit overnight. These are cheap alternatives to the bottled flavored water. If you do choose bottled flavored water, check the ingredients, as these are likely closer in form to lemon- or limeade than they are to water.
    9. Eat water rich foods, such as fruits like watermelon, which is 92% water by weight. Blend up some seedless fresh watermelon flesh with some ice and place a few sprigs of mint (optional) - one of the most refreshing drinks, especially for the summertime. Cranberry juice is also another option, and has a bitter taste. Patients suffering from urinary infection caused by insufficient intake of water should drink cranberry juice and eat watermelon if not plain water everyday. A tomato is 95% water. An egg is about 74% water. Always drink water before, with and after your meals; it will help you to eat slowly and prevent overeating
    10. Keep water cold if it tastes better for you. Keep a pitcher of water in the refrigerator at home. Add ice or freeze water in a sports bottle before taking it with you, it will eventually melt and stay cold. Bear in mind that cold water takes energy for your body to regulate the temperature, and does burn some calories. Room temperature water is better if you're dehydrated. Your body can absorb the room temperature water immediately, instead of the body having to raise the temperature of the water first in order to process it.
    11. Climate can drastically change how much water you need. On hot days that require you to be outside, you should drink more water to counteract the fluids you lose when you sweat. This not only keeps your body hydrated, it can prevent heat-related illness. Just as important (but often overlooked) is consuming enough fluids in cold & wet conditions. The human body works much more efficiently (including heating and cooling) when properly hydrated. Inadequate water intake affects the brain's function first, which can become very dangerous (especially in extreme conditions).
    12. Purchase a bottle the size of your water goal. Purchase a water bottle that holds the amount of water you wish to drink each day. Try to drink the water slowly through out the day. If you don't drink it all, don't try to chug it at the end of the day. This will allow you to easily see how much water you are consuming.

How To Lose 2 Kilos in 3 Days?

This is based on my experience. This method of losing weight worked for me. It's been almost 2 weeks since I made the 3 day losing weight diet and I've not return to my original weight. Don't worry I'm not selling products here. I'm just sharing what worked for me because this might work for you too. Who knows! So how did I loose weight in 3 days time? What diet did I indulge into?

Here's basically what I did. I went to an apple, vegetable, water diet. I was only getting more or less 400 calories a day. Okay, this may not sound healthy to you, but what matters to me is that it worked. And all I did was do it in 3 days time.

My Daily Diet Plan for 3 days:

    Breakfast:
    • 1 medium sized apple
    • 1 cup coffee or milk

    Lunch:
    • 1 medium sized apple
    • 1 cup of vegetable soup or  green veges (I used cups)

    Dinner:
    • 1 medium sized apple
    • Vegetables/ fish/meat (just very little)
    • Milk (optional)

As you notice, I didn't have anything for snacks. It's because I did not eat snacks. But if I was hungry then, I'd grab another apple, just one. And I drunk plenty of water, water, water, just to fill my stomach. There is no exercise involved as well.  I was able to do this in 3 days because I was just at home. If I was working then I'd collapse probably due to extreme hunger. As I was at home, I had minimal movements. With very little calorie intake, I managed to shed off 2 kilos in 3 days time. I've tried so many diet programs because I wanted to get back to shape after I gained 6 kilos but it's either I don't lose weight or I  if Idid, I'd regain the pounds after a few days. But this latest method however worked for me. I don't think I lose only the fluids from my body because it's almost 2 weeks since day 3 and my weight sits perfectly on a 47kilos. I couldn't believe at first how easy it was to get rid of excess weights. But it's real.

I don't in any way recommend this. This is for information purposes only. If you want to try this diet, you do so at your own risk. This is a drastic diet and by that there is even higher risk.

How to Stop Snoring & Drooling

Stop Snoring & Drooling Snoring and drooling are unintentional, bothersome and in some cases embarrassing. There are physiological reasons for snoring and drooling, as well as solutions. Snoring may be caused by excessive tissue in your nose or throat, or the position of your tongue. Drooling may be caused by an excessive flow from the salivary glands or poor muscle tone. Conservative treatments may help or cure these problems. If all else fails, surgery is an option.

    Instructions

    Things You'll Need:

    • Blocks to elevate your bed
    • Tennis ball
    • Continuous positive airway pressure mask and equipment
    • Dental appliance
    • Medication to inhibit the parasympathetic system

      How to Stop Snoring

    1. Step 1
Place blocks under the head of your bed to raise your head higher. Sleeping on your side may help. If you consistently roll onto your back, sew a tennis ball into the back of a T-shirt to keep you from doing so.

    2. Step 2
Limit your consumption of alcohol and clear your nasal passages before going to sleep. Keeping your nasal airway open may prevent you from opening your mouth to breath while you sleep.

    3. Step 3
Use a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mask if you have sleep apnea. Snoring is common with sleep apnea and wearing the mask will ensure that you are getting enough oxygen, eliminating the need for you to breath through your mouth.

    4. Step 4
Use a dental device, similar to a mouth guard, that adjusts your jaw and tongue to keep your airway open.

      How to Stop Drooling

    5. Step 1
Take a medication that your doctor can prescribe that inhibits the parasympathetic system that is part of the autonomic system that controls saliva production. Three medications that may help are glycopyrrolate, trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride and benztropine mesylate.

    6. Step 2
Have an injection of botulinum toxin A into the parotid gland. The injection is given under anesthesia and lasts as long as eight months.

    7. Step 3
Try biofeedback and hypnotherapy if you don't want to take medications or are looking for a less-invasion solution. Speech therapy may help children who drool.

    Now am Pimple Free!

    At last, there's freedom!

I am now pimple free! I don't have new pimples, nor new little zits to worry about. I've battled for major breakouts the past months. It took me a lot of experimentation with different synthetic and natural products.

Some products didn't work for me. I wasted money on these products. But it's all part of the road to being acne free.

By the way, don't mistake this pretty lady at the left side of this post as me. She's just too pretty to be me.. lol..

Anyhoo, you should check out my earlier articles for the cosmetic products I used to fight acne as well as the natural home remedies I used. I'm yet to sure other DIY beauty regimen. But my hands are occupied with SEO- search engine optimization. Hopefully, I could give you more tips very soon.

To sum it all up, I used products in the market to help me clear up my skin from pimples and blemishes. I combined it with natural products which are readily available in anyone's kitchen. Then of course, the most important part- healthy lifestyle. What you eat, what you do with your body reveal itself in your physical state and physical appearance. There is one simple rule - eat and live healthy.  I will be more detailed on this one in my upcoming articles.

    Gotta go!

Tips For How to Get a Flat Stomach

    http://www.weightlosswomen.org/images/how-to-get-a-flat-stomach.jpg
Stomach feeling flabby or just want to do a little toning up to get it looking good? Let these tips be your guide.

    1. Eat healthier and cut down junk food, such as replacing potato chips and chocolates with fruits. You'll see a world of difference.
    2. Watch how many soft drinks you consume. Consider flavored water as an alternative if you must.
    3. Do aerobic exercises daily at 30 minutes minimum and include 1-2 days of rest break each week. Anything that brings your heart rate up. Take up dancing, running, tae-bo, swimming, and walking at a good pace.
    4. Eat lots of lean protein (like beans and nuts - have some meat, it is rather good for you as long as you do not eat the fat!), fruits and dark vegetables, and whole grain breads and grains. If you eat "whole wheat" it's like the same as eating white bread- all the good fibers have been stripped away. These "whole grains" keep you fuller longer than white breads like cakes, cookies, and sweets. Also, stay away from high-fat dairy products (low-fat dairy products are a great source of protein and calcium).
    5. To better work the entire abdominal region, vary your exercises: Crunches work the upper abdomen, leg raises work the lower abdomen, side bends work the obliques (also known as love handles). Sure, you can do 100 daily crunches. But if you've got a layer of fat covering up your ab work then what's the point? You need to burn the top layer of stomach fat to see the changes.
    6. Consider some form of an aerobic exercise as well. Some simple resistance training or light weight lifting will not only help you burn fat more efficiently but tone up the rest of your body as well.

    7. Raising your metabolic rate is crucial. The higher your metabolic rate, the more energy (and thus fat) you'll burn even when you aren't doing anything. Try compound exercises like deadlifts with heavier weights.
    8. Do a lot of cardio.
    9. To increase your metabolic rate, increase the frequency of your meals to 6-8 times a day. Every 2 to 3 hours, ingest a small meal. This increased frequency will put your metabolisim into overdrive. WARNING: Do not over-eat! Small meals only. For greatest effect, only eat carbohydrates before 2:00 p.m, from then on only proteins.
    10. Make sure you don't eat anything 2 hours before you sleep. Your body slows down when you sleep so you can't digest food properly.
    11. Some of the best exercise for achieving flat stomach are Abdominal Crunches, Vaccum Pose and Belly Rubs, Stomach Twisting, Belly Resting Exercise, Russian Twist, Hip Raise Exercise, Dumbbell Side Bends, Leg Lift Exercise, Air Cycling, Knees In and Out, Sit Ups, Inclined Sit Ups, Front Squat, Reverse Crunches, Ball Crunches, Log Roll, Ab Tuck, The Crab Ab Workout, Side Crunches, V Crunches, Chin Up Crunches, Hanging Leg Raise and Hanging Knee Raise.

10 Sex Tips to Make Long-term Sex More Exciting

In long-term relationships, it's easy to settle into a routine with your partner that, while may be comfortable, can make your sex life a tad mundane. However, by shaking it up and using these sex tips, you can revive the spark that first brought you two together. Here are a few ideas to consider.
    Married Couple in Bed

Sex Tip 1: Keep it pretty

First things first, it's impossible to have great sex if you don't feel sexy, so treat yourself to a blowout or some new lingerie, whatever is needed to put the "va-va-voom" back into your step.

Sex Tip 2: Flirt with each other

Make a habit of sending playful, sexy messages to him throughout the day. Make him salivate with anticipation by telling him what you're wearing and what you want to do to him later.

Sex Tip 3: Set the mood

Don't underestimate the power of lighting a few candles. Make sure your bedroom is sexy and doesn't have toys littering it. And turn off the tv!

    Sex Tip 4: Just kiss

Agree to place a ban on sex for a certain length of time and just kiss and focus on foreplay. Abstaining from sex has the added benefit of charging up both of your libidos.

    Sex Tip 5: Surprise Him

Don't wear any underwear and let him find out.

Sex Tip 6: Watch an Erotic Film Together

It doesn't have to be porn for it to be sexy. Some favorites: Body Heat, Belle du Jour, Last Tango in Paris, Like Water for Chocolate.

Sex Tip 7: Play an adult game

Check out Game night for couples and Games that lovers play for some naughty suggestions.

Sex Tip 8: Discover a new position

There are over 60 different positions in the Kama Sutra, so there's no excuse to not try a new one at least once a week!

Sex Tip 9: Share your fantasies

A little role-playing can be fun and it doesn't have to be limited to the bedroom. Start the fun before you even get home by meeting at a bar and pretending you just met.

Sex Tip 10: Get out of the bedroom

Sometimes a change of locale is all that's needed to rev up the action. Try having sex somewhere unexpected; just be careful not to get caught!

If any of the ideas makes you feel nervous, then you should definitely try it first. The great part of being with someone for an extended period of time is that you can fully trust and feel safe with him, so don't hesitate to try something out of your normal comfort zone, especially if it means revving your sex life up!

    Are Men Breast Obsessed?

There is a common notion that men like big breasted women. Hence, the statement “The bigger a woman’s bust, the stronger a man’s lust.”

Photo Credit: Me (of course I made this myself)

While enjoying my grocery shopping, the other day, one big breasted woman passed by me. She must be a cup D or E. How I felt belittled seeing the huge endowment she possessed. Darn am only cup "tot"(ah never mind...hehehe.. )She flaunted her ample cleavage like they were hotcakes for sale. The men all over her went drool at the size of what they saw- a magnificent landscape on sight! There was stillness and silence as if the men were devoured by two very welcoming, definitely non life-threatening enchanted peaks! I was about to tell her “Move away! Hide your mountains before another’s eyes and eyelids stop blinking!” lol... (Though, I hoped they had no thoughts of grabbing what they saw..gosh!)

Are men really breast obsessed? Maybe “breast-obsessed” is too much of a word! One thing is certain though “men like the pleasant sight of breasts before them”. One (because) they don’t have them. Two, they accentuate the difference between men and women. Three, they trigger their sexual fantasies.

Breast size doesn’t really matter to most men. Ten thousands eyes may be cast on bigger boobies, but that doesn’t mean the smaller ones won’t get ten thousand tongue applause too...(oh don’t think naughty now...;))

High Bulging Forehead: Sign of Superior Intelligence?

“I’m a dangas girl, like my mother!” (Loose Translation: "Dangas" means “malaki noo or bonbonan”/ big or bulging forehead)

I remember this line pretty well.

At age 6 and below, I was always asked to say this line in front of all my uncles and aunties. It appeared as if I was bragging at having a high bulging forehead. My relatives seemed entertained as they watched a 6 year old cheerfully and innocently boasted about her bulging forehead. That wasn’t embarrassing at all as they’d bribe me with big claps, and few cents to a peso. They all loved my little presentation, I knew by their merry eyes. . Then I’d slowly exit, with that childish grin thinking “Yeheey Naa ko Kwarta!” (loose translation: “Yeheey, I have money!”) It felt like I outsmarted them all to giving me some cash with a simple sentence. Now I know they tricked me for fun’s sake..lol..

Anyway, is a high bulging forehead a sign of superior intelligence? This is the common belief that’s not proven scientifically. Having a bulging forehead does not indicate above average brainpower. So don’t get intimated upon the sight of someone with bigger/wider forehead than yours. Seriously, a high bulging forehead means just one thing: “a high bulging forehead”. heheh

I Need to Scream Aloud or Die!

I agonize over every pimple I get these past days, in the same vein as I fret over every frown line I notice on my face. I know am getting older everyday, but to see new pimples all over my face freaks me out. Anxiety over my damned pimples has seized me. I try to comfort myself with made up suppositions like “The pimples will be gone tomorrow.” These are just allergies. Having taken antihistamine, my face will be better tomorrow”. But I am not even an inch close to convincing myself. The next day I wake up with new zits giving me morning pangs of hideous truth right in front of my mirror. What you might mistake here as exaggeration to the point of madness is often called as vanity... but is pleasant to the ears when termed as health consciousness. Lol..

Instead of tossing over tear soaked Kleenex tissue for all of these, I try to ward off the feeling of depression I feel over my seriously affected physical appearance and sex appeal. hahahaha.. Okay let me say the first “eeww” (heightened voice) to the last few words I said..hihihi..

Seriously, I couldn’t bear anymore the hypocritical smiles I imagine from other people. Yes, I am creating my own ghost so to speak. But I need to vent this feeling, scream aloud or I die... (okay, am exaggerating again...:))
